Prices for a website range from a few hundred to several thousand euros, and the difference between companies rarely shows on the offer page. It shows in the answers to a few simple questions.

  1. Is the price fixed and in writing? With an exact list of pages and features.
  2. Can I see live sites you launched? Open them on a phone: fast, readable, working forms?
  3. Who owns the domain, hosting and site? The domain should be in your company's name, with full access.
  4. Who writes the content and where do the photos come from? Content delays most projects.
  5. How fast will it be on a phone? Ask for a mobile Lighthouse score at handover.
  6. What do you do for SEO? Separate service pages, correct titles, sitemap, structured data, speed. Avoid anyone promising a guaranteed number one ranking.
  7. Will it be found in ChatGPT or Perplexity? Structured data, direct answers and content visible without JavaScript.
  8. How long will it take, and what if you are late? A business site usually takes 7 working days; put the timeline in the contract.
  9. What happens after launch? Security updates, backups, the cost of small changes, how fast they respond.
  10. Can I edit the text myself? Useful for prices, opening hours and photos.

A good company answers all of this clearly without rushing you to sign. At ABG Soft we work with a fixed written price and usually reply the same day. See our web design in Sibiu page, what a business website costs, or check your current site with the free scanner.

FAQ

How do I check that a web design company is serious?

Open a few of their live sites on your phone, read their Google reviews, ask for a written quote and see how clearly they answer. A serious company never promises a guaranteed number one spot on Google.
