abg-soft.ro uses only what is strictly necessary to work. Traffic statistics run only if you consent. We don't use advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies, and we don't sell your data.

What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies (the browser's local storage, localStorage and sessionStorage, or scripts that send data about a visit) work in a similar way. The rules below apply to all of them.

Categories and legal basis

• Necessary: keep the site working (for example, they remember your cookie choice or show the result of a scan you asked for). They don't need consent under Article 4(5) of Romanian Law no. 506/2004 (implementing the EU ePrivacy Directive) and can't be switched off.
• Statistics: show us, aggregated and without identifying you, which pages are visited, so we can improve the site. They run only with your consent (Article 4(5) of Law no. 506/2004 and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

How to give, change or withdraw consent

On your first visit we show a banner where you can accept all, reject all or customize your choice. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the site works fully without consent.

You can change or withdraw consent at any time with the "Cookie settings · Your Privacy Choices" button in the footer of every page or at the end of this page. Withdrawal takes effect immediately and doesn't affect processing carried out before it.

How long we keep your choice

Your choice is stored in the abg_consent cookie for 12 months. After that, or if we change the list below, we ask you again.

To be able to prove that we asked for consent (Article 7(1) GDPR), we also keep an anonymous record of each choice: a random identifier, the choices made, the policy version and the date. We don't keep your IP address or any data that identifies you. The record is deleted automatically after 24 months.

Global Privacy Control and US privacy laws

If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we honour it and note it in the record of your choice.

We do not sell or share your personal information, as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar US state laws, and we don't use it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

How to clear browser data

You can delete cookies and locally stored data at any time in your browser settings ("Privacy" or "Site data"). If you delete the abg_consent cookie, we'll ask you again on your next visit.

Your rights

You have the rights described in our Privacy policy, including the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP, B-dul G-ral Gheorghe Magheru nr. 28-30, sector 1, Bucharest, www.dataprotection.ro, or with the authority in your own EU country.
